The relationship between Israel and the Church has long been a topic of discussion and debate amongst believers. Has the Church replaced Israel as God's covenant people? In our new series, Israel and the Church, we will take the time to thoroughly and concretely answer all of these questions. In today's episode, we start by covering some of the backgrounds for understanding this important issue. Some of the things we discuss in today's episode include the immense heritage that Christianity receives from the Jewish people, the history of the Church's relationship with Israel (hint: it's not good), and the modern theologies that attempt to explain how Israel and the Church coexist.
