In today's episode, we bring you our final installment of Israel and the Church. Paul concludes his discussion on Israel's future by introducing the ultimate analogy for understanding how Israel and the Church relate to one another. He does this while continuing to uphold the three central convictions he's already introduced to his reader:

• Israel, the nation, is God's chosen, covenant people; they have not been replaced

• While the nation of Israel is elect, not every Jew will be saved

• Salvation has always been accomplished through the faith of individuals - this has always been the case

As a part of this discussion, Paul makes several statements that inform our understanding of what it is to be "saved," and we take ample to unpack them. Finally, Paul concludes his conversation on Israel and the Church by relaying God's plan to save "all of Israel," and then victoriously declares one of the most magnificent doxologies in Scripture: "Oh the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!"

We have truly loved bringing you this series. If you want to think biblically about yourself as a member of Christ's Church, especially in relation to the covenant people of God, then this episode, and this series, is for you. Enjoy!
